Perennial plant used mainly as a condiment. It has tonic and digestive properties. Height between 40-60 cm with oval leaves and pink flowers in clusters. Sunny exposure, well drained soils. Planting time: Sow from April to October in a Mediterranean climate or from May to September in a continental climate, although it is preferable to avoid very hot months. Planting depth: Put 3-4 seeds per hole 0.5-1 cm deep. Crop Frame: 50 cm between plants, on the edges of the orchard. Solar exposition: Full sun or light shade. Irrigation: Infrequent, avoid flooding. Harvest: When it begins to flower, in late spring or early summer, the shoots are cut and we leave about 10 cm for it to sprout again and be able to harvest again at the end of summer.
